The wife and I have had a great deal of success on the slow-carb diet. A key component of this diet is one day a week, you take a day off and eat whatever you want, how much you want. Oh, the glory of the cheat day...

Man I love Cheat Day. Oreos, Bugles, other chips, Cheerios. None of it very good for you, but this gets the cravings out of the way. After a workout, had a shake and some berries, along with those awesome Cap'n Crunch Sprinkled Donuts (had them later on that night, too, before Beth could eat them all).
Lunch was Longhorn. Calamari appetizer, salad, and then steak with half a potato and some broccoli.
As I mentioned, I finished off the day with that cereal, but before that I had a Little Debbie and an ice cream bar.
Weight gain: 6.2 pounds. More than I thought it would be. Still, Weight leveled off; this was helped by a about a three pound drop from Sunday to Monday.
