The wife and I have had a great deal of success on the slow-carb diet. A key component of this diet is one day a week, you take a day off and eat whatever you want, how much you want. Oh, the glory of the cheat day...

October 4, 2014
We figured in the morning that we were going to Outback because Beth was jumping out of airplane, so we had to schedule everything around that (which was fine!). Started off with some Cheerios, finished off a bag of Bugles, and ate about half a pack of fudge creme Oreos.
After a workout, a protein shake, bowl of berries, and lots of those donut Cap'n Crunch things (they are so good!).
Outback was a Bloomin' Onion, salad, steak, half a baked potato, and some vegetables.
Later it was more cereal, a Little Debbie, and, yes, I finished off that pack of Oreos.
Weight gain: 5.8 pounds. Lots. BUT, my weight this morning on a Thursday (161.0) that it has ever been. All this appears to be working.
