The wife and I have had a great deal of success on the slow-carb diet. A key component of this diet is one day a week, you take a day off and eat whatever you want, how much you want. Oh, the glory of the cheat day...

Started off with cereal, chips and cookies (I ended up eating that whole bag of chips, btw). This was followed by a huge carrot cake cupcake. After a workout, it was a protein shake with a bowl of berries.
Lunch was huge! Two tacos, a burrito and an enchilada, with double beans (no rice), along with a bunch of chips.
Later on, blueberry pie and ice cream. Should be noted that coupons and deals abounded - coupon for cupcake, coupon for lunch, and the pie was less than a buck.
Weight gain: 4.8 pounds. That Mexican was a LOT of food.
