The wife and I have had a great deal of success on the slow-carb diet. A key component of this diet is one day a week, you take a day off and eat whatever you want, how much you want. Oh, the glory of the cheat day...

Began the day with chips and salsa and a third of a bag of Oreos (some type of golden, birthday cake style, yum). Followed by a carrot cupcake. As typical, after a workout, a shake and bowl of berries.
For lunch, Chinese buffet! I can't eat as much as I used to! Only two full plates of typical Chinese food (but no rice or noodles), with some fruit and ice cream after.
Later on, I finished off that cheap pie with lots of ice cream.
Weight gain: 5.8 pounds. That's a pretty big gain, but that morning I was my lowest ever at 165.2 pounds. This appears to be working, this Wednesday (9/17/2014), I'm back down to 166.2 three more days of possible weight loss to go. Hoping to break into 164 for Saturday.
