The wife and I have had a great deal of success on the slow-carb diet. A key component of this diet is one day a week, you take a day off and eat whatever you want, how much you want. Oh, the glory of the cheat day...

Decided to go to the breakfast buffet, so started off the morning with chips, triple berry newtons, and a mango. At the buffet, started off with a ham and cheese omelet, lots of bacon, hashbrowns, pineapple and greens. Followed this with half a waffle (part side with strawberries and whipped cream; the other side maple syrup) and more bacon. For dessert, had some pineapple and watermelon, and two colossal donuts.
A few hours after I got home, I snacked on pistachios and those awesome tart valentine candies. Later after playing a few hours of Diablo III with Beth, I had a big bowl of butter almond ice cream.
Weight gain: Five pounds. If anything, I'm consistent. Again, hoping some of this is muscle!
