The wife and I have had a great deal of success on the slow-carb diet. A key component of this diet is one day a week, you take a day off and eat whatever you want, how much you want. Oh, the glory of the cheat day...

June 28, 2014
Plan for the day is to push through the plateau. Started off with those pseudo-crunchberries and some chips and guac. Worked out for the first time in a long time, so had a protein shake. Lunch was at the local Lebanese place, starting off with olives, pita chips and yogurt. Appetizer was falafel. Entree was mixed grill with extra veggies instead of rice.
Can't remember what I had for dessert later on, but I think it was an ice cream sandwich.
Weight gain: Only 3.8 pounds. So here's an update on the overall weight. It appears that I've pushed through the plateau. The morning that I posted this (July 4), weight was 167.6, which must be my lowest in over 25 years.
