The wife and I have had a great deal of success on the slow-carb diet. A key component of this diet is one day a week, you take a day off and eat whatever you want, how much you want. Oh, the glory of the cheat day...

June 21, 2014
Got another pie, so that means another two pounds of pie, plus ice cream. Knowing this was happening, started off with a kale/walnut/pomegranate salad. Also had some Chic-fil-e sliders (nuggets placed in small rolls) because they were free (natch). Then pie.
Because of said pie, it was a pseudo-light lunch at Ruby Tuesday. Lots of salad (had the broccoli salad, which has sugar, but it's okay because it was cheat day). Entree was fried chicken strips with sweet potato fries.
Later on, more pie.
Weight gain: Five pounds even. Again, two pounds of pie.
