The wife and I have had a great deal of success on the slow-carb diet. A key component of this diet is one day a week, you take a day off and eat whatever you want, how much you want. Oh, the glory of the cheat day...

May 24, 2014
At this point in my life and on my diet, I eat odd. I say this because I started off with a kale, carrot, pomegranate, and walnut salad. Then I ate about a quarter of a Boston cream/strawberry cake.
For lunch, we went to Uncle Julio's (the restaurant; I don't have an Uncle Julio). Chips and salsa, two enchiladas, a tamale, and a taco was the meal. For dessert, I finished off that cake. That's right - I finished it off, which means I had about three-quarters of that cake. (I also had some fig newtons and nuts during the day.)
Weight change: 4.6 pounds.
