The wife and I have had a great deal of success on the slow-carb diet. A key component of this diet is one day a week, you take a day off and eat whatever you want, how much you want. Oh, the glory of the cheat day...

February 22, 2014
This is the week that I'm determined to get past the plateau. So, started with chips and guac and a couple of grapefruit. This was followed by some candy bars (and there was also a few pieces of candy and nuts thrown in throughout the day).
For lunch, we went to Nora, the Lebanese restaurant. They start us with some pita chips and yogurt. We also got a falafel appetizer (forgot to take a pic). I had the mixed grill, which is roasted veggies and some grilled meats.
For dessert, it was a Klondike bar (I didn't have to do much except get it out of the freezer) and a cupcake.
Weight gain: 3.8 pounds. Higher than I expected, but I'm about three pounds than this time last week. This might be the end of the plateau.
