The wife and I have had a great deal of success on the slow-carb diet. A key component of this diet is one day a week, you take a day off and eat whatever you want, how much you want. Oh, the glory of the cheat day...

How awesome was breakfast? We're talking Poptarts, red velvet cookies, and candy bars. That's just awesome. After a workout, it was a smoothie.
For lunch, we went to Mandarin in town. Started off with the typical vegetable tempura, chicken Teriyaki, dumplings, fried shrimp, egg roll and beef roll. This was followed by typical Chinese food, and included some broccoli (Hey, at least I made sure I ate some vegetables. A smaller plate next, which included some olives (I love briny stuff; sooooo briny). Also had some pineapple, a sesame ball with red-bean paste and a cream puff (most Chinese desserts are awful, this was so good, I got another). For dessert, blueberry and strawberry ice cream.
For dinner, some Doritos and a Zero bar. To paraphrase Homer Simpson, "That Zero bar was good, I wish I was eating it right now."
Weight gain: 4.8 pounds.
