The wife and I have had a great deal of success on the slow-carb diet. A key component of this diet is one day a week, you take a day off and eat whatever you want, how much you want. Oh, the glory of the cheat day...

December 21, 2013
Had a craving for breakfast stuff as well as Shoppers colossal donuts. That combination means Great American Buffet. Because I woke up too early (around 5 am for some crazy reason) I got up and had some cereal and a cookie. I didn't eat much because I knew we would be going to a buffet.
After a workout and a shower, we drove to Manassas. First, I sniped some donuts to be sure I had them available at dessert (I'm no rookie). Then, as usual, I started with a ham and egg omelet, some hash-browns, and some bacon. Lots of bacon. I followed this with a bowl of pineapple.
I forgot to take a picture, but then I had some pancakes, a piece of fried chicken, and of course, some more bacon. This was followed by a cinnamon roll (CiCi's are better, btw) and those (way way awesome donuts).
After a few hours, I had a snack of some Doritos and another cookie.
I capped this day with a big (that means really smushed all in Randy's Ice Cream bowl) bowl of Bryer's/Snickers (it's some type of blast or blend or something - what's the diff, it's pretty great) ice cream.
