The wife and I have had a great deal of success on the slow-carb diet. A key component of this diet is one day a week, you take a day off and eat whatever you want, how much you want. Oh, the glory of the cheat day...

November 3, 2013
Started off with guacamole, chips, and a few candy bars (yes, we hit the post-Halloween sales). There were also some pumpkin/chocolate chip cookies (not surprisingly, these were also on sale, something like 50 cookies for five bucks).
After this stellar (?) breakfast, we worked out and followed the workout to Panera for breakfast sandwiches. I had two, Beth had one. We both got the Power Sandwich. I also had a second sandwich and capped everything off with a yogurt, fruit and granola dessert.
Throughout the day, I snacked a bit on those mini-pumpkins, which are like candy corn, so I mixed them with peanuts. Because we hadn't eaten it in a while, it was a Papa John's for pizza. I think I ate six or seven slices. Sometime during the day, I had a bowl of pineapple and a banana.
Ending for this cheat day? Big bowl of ice cream (root beer float!) and another pumpkin/chocolate chip cookie.
