The wife and I have had a great deal of success on the slow-carb diet. A key component of this diet is one day a week, you take a day off and eat whatever you want, how much you want. Oh, the glory of the cheat day...

November 10, 2013
There were two slices of pizza left over from last week, so I finished it off (Beth enjoyed meatloaf sandwiches for breakfast). With the pizza? Some candy bars and some cupcake cookies (I guess this is what they are; all the great icing with less of the annoying cake!). For these cookies, they were post-Halloween, so there was a two dollar off coupon on the package, I had a buck off coupon from the bake shop, and with the bonus card, Beth thinks we got them for free (I LOVE free!).
After a workout, it was a smoothie (this one had the addition of some pomegranates). More snacking included those pumpkin candies with some peanuts.
Beth and I didn't really have a specific "craving" for anything, so because she had a 20% off the entire check coupon, we went to Famous Dave's, got the Feast-for-Two, and ate off of a trashcan lid (like hoity-toity raccoons).
Ended cheat day by finishing off that root beer float ice cream and some more cookies. Don't judge me! Ice cream containers have gotten smaller over the years.
