The wife and I have had a great deal of success on the slow-carb diet. A key component of this diet is one day a week, you take a day off and eat whatever you want, how much you want. Oh, the glory of the cheat day...

November 23, 2013
Started off with some guac and chips. I was craving cereal so I mixed some regular Cheerios with some Honey Nut Cheerios (almond milk instead of regular milk, though). Still wanted to splurge, so had some cookies and a candy bar. I think I worked out, so I probably had a smoothie.
Lunch was at the Outback. Started with the Bloomin' Onion, followed by a salad. We snacked on bread throughout. Entree was the six ounce steak; Beth and I split the baked potato as well as the mixed vegetables (one of us got the potato, one of us got the veg, and then we split). Got the coconut shrimp, too.
And later, I finished that muffin!!!!!!!!!
