The wife and I have had a great deal of success on the slow-carb diet. A key component of this diet is one day a week, you take a day off and eat whatever you want, how much you want. Oh, the glory of the cheat day...

Working on plowing through the plateau. Started off with some peanuts, cashews, and valentine candy corn. This was follwed by a Little Debbie snack cake and some candy bars.
Went to lunch at Five Guys, but this time, didn't get cheese or bacon on the burger and Beth and I split small fries.
Later when we got home, had a craving for chips and salsa, of all things. Had some five-year old salsa in the basement (still good!). This was followed by a grapefruit.
And then a big bowl of ice cream!
Weight gain: Getting through the plateau - day started under 180 and stayed there with a gain of only 1.8 pounds!
